Podi Job was founded in 2022 by a small team of tech entrepreneurs who saw a massive gap in the Sri Lankan digital economy â talented young people with real skills, but no accessible platform to connect them with clients who needed small digital tasks done.
The name "Podi Job" comes from the Sinhala word podi, meaning "small" â a nod to our focus on micro-tasks that make a big difference. We believe no job is too small, and every rupee earned through honest digital work matters.
Today, Podi Job serves over 12,000 freelancers and 500+ active clients, facilitating thousands of completed tasks every month across typing, graphic design, data entry, content writing, and more.
